Shoe Break

I've been studying nonstop lately (well that is besides the tv and internet breaks, sue me) but I just had to take a moment out of my life to blog this Ruthie Davis shoe preview that she shared via twitter. This whole Ruthie Davis thing is clearly going to become a trend. She fascinates me as a person, and makes amazing shoes that I could never afford (which is pretty much my criteria for liking something in the fashion world). Anyway, less talk, more shoes!

Rainbow Brite

I have a feeling that I'm going to be using this picture as a pick-me-up during the winter season. Super colorful Ruthie Davis shoes. Amazing.

Sneak Pump!

Ruthie Davis tweeted this teaser of her S2011 collection and it has definitely gotten me super excited to see what more she has up her sleeve! Such a departure from the dark and tough heels I posted here, but you can still tell they're from the same designer, an amazing feat. I'm loving the combination of neutrals with metallic, and of course the hot pink sole! Also of course, the exposed heel, made a little more interesting with the combo of wooden and traditional materials. Killer! Can't wait to see the rest of the collection.

Ruth-eeee!

Merely hours after I wrote this post I began seeing Ruthie Davis shoes EVERYWHERE. Most notably, the exact same shoes on Katy Perry.

Also, found a post on another blog of the shoe along with two other beauties.

Clearly I have some more research to do on her.

EDIT: Also spotted in Ruthie Davis shoes? Demi Lovato and Whitney Port! Clearly they are fast becoming celeb favorites.

Spiked to Perfection

These shoes are right up my blogging alley. I love any piece that makes me standout, but in a good way, not a crazy one. These shoes have the perfect amount of spikes to make them fierce, but not so many that it looks like you're wearing sea urchins. Ruthie Davis $1,395.
