Rustic

These are the kinds of shoes I've always wanted to design. Mostly just because of the heel. I love interesting heels. Although something about these in particular looks incredibly painful. Either way, Jil Sander is a genius.

Skeletor

The other day I posted a pair of amazing Dsquared shoes as seen on Jak & Jil that completely inspired me to start blogging more frequently. Then today, as I was catching up on Sea of Shoes, I happened upon a picture of the exact same shoes, plus another version.

Here is a close-up of the heel on the original pair. I am still amazed by the beauty of this heel. I love how they made it authentic looking with the wear marks.

While I still like the original strappy pair better, this bootie version is just as interesting, and I would just die if I ever got the chance to own either one.

Face Time

I absolutely LOVE these Dolce and Gabbana wedges. They remind me so much of a painting. I wouldn't even be able to reference an artist because, well I know absolutely nothing about art or painters, but I love the unexpectedness of this shoe. From far away it looks like a simple black wedge, but it is such a pretty close-up. They really make me want to go to a museum.

Chanel Choos

Jane of Sea of Shoes posted recently about a wrap dress she got, but all I could see were these amazing red shoes. Turns out she loves them just as much as I do, and they were a gift from Chanel itself. This girl has it all!

Lusting After: A Big Furry Jacket

Don't worry PETA, I'm not advocating killing animals here. But something about these jackets just make me want to go out and buy the first one I can afford. Too bad I live in Florida, and while it has been absolutely freezing here lately (30 degrees anyone?), I would look completely ridiculous in a jacket this serious. Doesn't stop me from wanting one though!

xoxo.
